The hotel is situated in the very center of Locarno, which is excellent for exploring the area. However, the room was disappointing with a dark cubby hole attic space instead of the double room booked. The service was helpful but could be more attentive to guests. The dining options were nice but a bit expensive. The location is great, only a ten-minute walk from the train station and lake, with good value for money.

The room had a skylight instead of a window and was uncomfortably warm inside. An aircon would be a necessary addition, as the electric fan provided was not sufficient. The room layout with four single beds in a small attic space was not as expected.

My stay at the hotel was pretty good overall. The rooms were smaller than expected but very clean and nicely decorated. The service was excellent; they even offered us a shower after a long bike ride post-check-out. The location couldn't be better; just steps away from the festival entrance. The dining experience was average, nothing exceptional but not bad either.
